Please Accept My Apologies . . .

After returning from an excellent conference in San Diego, I realized that I have been doing my blog readers a disservice. You see, in addition to writing an e-book on babywearing, which you can download at: http://ThrivingBabies.com/order.html I just created a second educational product a few weeks ago.

Now, I never told anyone on this blog about it, because I ASSUMED that no one would be interested. But the truth is, it's a great informational kit that anyone selling a home could profit from, literally. So, in case any of my blog readers might be selling a home, I will give you the link to my new website so you can check it out for yourself.

The product is on home staging, which is a quick and easy way to get your home ready to sell. Home Staging reportedly helps home owners sell in half the time with an average 6.9% higher price point (source: stagedhomes.com).

Folks who are selling on their own as FSBOs (for sale by owner) and traditional home sellers alike have found my kit to be very useful, so I thought I'd be remiss if I didn't tell you about myself. It includes an audio interview with a professional home stager, my home staging manual and checklists you need to get the job done fast. I also have some upcoming bonuses where you can peek over my shoulder and watch me transform one of my investment houses!

My new Home Staging site is at: http://Home-Staging-Secrets.com/action.html

Imagine my chagrine if you had happened upon the site on your own -- I'd never hear the end of it. Have fun and enjoy the newest educational product I have created to help others!

Baby Safety on Planes

This little article reminded me of the importance of using a car seat for infants and toddlers when flying. I have an entire section in my e-book at http://ThrivingBabies.com/order.html on this topic, but I wanted to get the word out to every parent!

Unspoken Caste System

Here's a NY Times article about how different jobs, primarily white collar vs. blue collar, provide different policies in regards to working moms who need to pump breastmilk on the job. The milk gap is just another example of the haves and the have-nots.

I was horrified to read about the degrading treatment working class moms received when attempting to negotiate time and privacy to pump. Breastmilk has been proven to have so many health benefits in a child's life, but it appears to be a luxury only the middle class and up can afford to provide because the government won't step in and provide some basic requirements from all businesses.

And we have the nerve to call ourselves a "modern" society.
