What A Day!

Although nothing super special really happened, today was an overall great day. And I just felt the need to share it with you!

Arianna's school was cancelled today because of a rotovirus. Ick. Don't want to be anywhere near that! So we had "school" at home today. We played with magnetic letters, did some crafts, read an Anno math games 2 book that totally rocks, and read some other books as well. We also have some belated Xmas gifts we are working on for two of Arianna's cousins. (Have patience -- we haven't forgotten about you!)

Then she played by herself for awhile so I could check my websites and e-mail. Made several sales this week, which is always exciting to me, and received some excellent feedback about my e-books. I can't even describe what an ego boost that is for a lil' ole write-at-home mom like me! I have ideas for 3 more books and another business idea, but there just isn't enough time in the day, let alone before my due date in May. I always come back to the ideas that won't let me go and pay them their proper homage. So I'm at peace with not being able to do everything I would like. My first job is always as Mom.

After lunch and some laundry, Arianna and I took a short nap. We had a little snack, made a scrumptious dinner of pesto and pasta that tasted like a plateful of summer with all that aromatic basil and parmesan. Andrew came home from work and I was dropped like a hot potato by Arianna. I finished the laundry and cleaned the house a bit.

I am trying to start a preschool Spanish club and received tons of interest today, which is another success story that I am proud of.

And to top it all off, I bid on an eBay auction at the last minute and WON what I wanted for a great price.

Now that's what I call a heck of a day!

Cheers,
Rebecca
