Newborn rash

Our second daughter, who was born at home, is doing very well. Within the first week, I noticed that she started to get little bumps all over her chest. I assumed it was an allergy from the laundry detergent we used, but our midwife said it's newborn rash.

Newborn rash is completely normal and disappears on its own after a week or two. No need to change detergents, like we did with our first daughter, who experienced the same thing. We actually switched to Tide Free and Clear and then found out that we shouldn't use that for cloth diapers!

What a relief that we didn't have to change anything!
